Will there be any waste or residue after the process?

The plant will produce ash, which will be processed off-site. Removal of ash from the site has been included in the traffic impact assessment.

Most of this ash will be utilised and incorporated into new building materials and aggregates. This material can be contracted with appropriate businesses located locally, to improve their carbon footprint and boost their business opportunities.
