The project will directly benefit those employed through the construction and operation of the project, which will enable and maintain a strong local economy. The project will have an ongoing positive contribution to biodiversity obligations, diversion of waste from landfill through promotion of increased recycling and energy recovery which will boost UK energy resilience (reducing reliance on overseas energy sources).
